Mazda BT-50 2012+ (Ranger Version)

Mazda's first generation of BT-50 was released in 2012 as a collaboration with Ford with their long history of vehicle cross-branding.  This car has great features with a long pedigree in off-road toughness and is a strong package for towing and off-road work. With the addition of a Lovells GVM/GCM Upgrade it's even more capable with 300Kg more payload capacity for setting up your rig with plenty of accessories and still towing your big van or boat.

3500Kg GVM plus TWO GCM Options - which one is right for me?

Through their rigorous testing Lovells discovered that the Ranger/BT-50 twins - under severe conditions such as very long hill climbs - can begin to overheat and reduce power. Lovells have therefore created two versions of the GCM Upgrade kit focused towards differing customer needs.

Kit 1: 6600Kg GCM is geared towards customers who will primarily be using the GVM Upgrade to offset weight on their vehicle and mostly only tow moderate loads.

Kit 2: 7100Kg GCM is aimed at customers who are regularly towing big loads or want the peace of mind knowing they're going to get maximum performance in all conditions. This kit is the same as the 6600 GCM version however also includes a larger engine radiator and intercooler for better cooling when the going gets tough. Add a transmission cooler for even greater confidence (optional extra at additional cost).
